EAA 701 Fly-in Rescheduled to Oct 20September 14, 2001 Dear Fellow Aviator, Due to the recent national tragedy, the membership of Mansfield EAA Chapter 701 has elected to postpone their 20th annual Fly-in until Saturday October 20th from 9am to 3pm. The rain date will be Sunday the 21st. Events will include a fundraiser for the American Red Cross. We will also have displays of rare vintage aircraft, the best in experimental home-built aircraft, ultralights, and a look at some very fine contemporary aircraft all enhanced by the drama of our trophy awards for the best home-built, classic, and antique, as well as this year's featured aircraft the legendary Van's RV series. If you know anyone flying a Van's RV, please have them register to enter the judging for the best RV of the fly-in. Kids 10 to 17 can sign up for Young Eagles rides. Great food awaits, including donuts and coffee, hamburgers, hot dogs, kielbasa, cakes, pies, brownies, ice cream, and cold drinks. There'll be an Aviation Flea Market featuring memorabilia, models, books, videos, clothing and collectibles. There'll even be some vintage military vehicles from World War II.
